Yamhill County Court Dockets

Yamhill County court records in Oregon are available through several channels. YamhillCourt.us allows you to search publicly available information about county court cases. Additionally, records can be found through the official online resources of the Oregon Judicial Department, directly at the district court office in McMinnville, or at public terminals in the courthouse.

Yamhill Court System & Jurisdictions

Yamhill County Circuit Court is the 25th judicial district of the state of Oregon. Four elected judges hear all categories of cases here, as Oregon uses a unified circuit court system rather than separate courts by case type.

This means that the same court hears:

  • Criminal cases — from felonies to misdemeanors
  • Civil claims, including small claims (up to $10,000)
  • Family law — divorce, child custody, alimony, protective orders
  • Probate cases — estate administration and guardianship appointments
  • Traffic violations and other administrative offenses
  • Juvenile cases — heard with limited public access

An important note: the County Clerk's office does not provide court services. For any questions regarding court cases, you should contact the Circuit Court directly at 503-434-7530.

Yamhill Court Calendar & Upcoming Hearings

You can check the schedule of hearings for today, tomorrow, or the current week for free through the Oregon eCourt Circuit Court Calendars system. Simply select Yamhill County from the list and specify the desired date.

How to find the necessary hearing:

  1. Go to the Oregon eCourt Circuit Court Calendars page
  2. Select "Yamhill" from the list of counties
  3. Specify the date or date range
  4. Review the results — they include the party's name, case number, time, courtroom, and judge's name

For a more detailed search — by case number or participant's last name — use OJCIN OnLine (OECI). Basic calendar search is free, but extended access to case materials through OECI requires account registration. On the day of the scheduled hearing, it is recommended to check the calendar again — time and room may change.

Some categories of cases — particularly juvenile, adoption, and mental health cases — do not appear in the public calendar in accordance with federal and state law.
